2421 Auburn Avenue

Originally built in 1895, this four-story French Château-style Victorian “castle” in Cincinnati’s Mount Auburn Historic District was thoughtfully restored for a local non-profit.

The renovation transformed a former office building into welcoming counseling rooms and offices, while adding a new parking lot and accessible front entrance to serve the community. Historic details—such as curved glass mullioned windows and intricate woodwork—were carefully repaired rather than replaced, preserving ” at risk” historic detailing and the building’s character. The project successfully balances historic charm with modern amenities, creating a space that feels both timeless and inviting.
